Carmen P.
Forte Jr.
Carmen
is a third year law student at the John Marshall Law School.
At John Marshall, Carmen has attained Dean’s List Honors,
and is a member of the Trial Advocacy Honors Board. He is
very involved in the Justinian Society of Lawyers, where he
serves as an Executive Committee Member, Newsletter Staff
Writer, and Vice President of the John Marshall Law School
Chapter. He has received several academic awards, including
the Lupel and Amari Scholarship in 2007, and the Justinian
Society Scholarship in 2006 and 2007.
Prior to working for Representative Coladipietro, Carmen has
had several positions in local government and law that have
influenced his desire for legislative issues. He currently
works as a clerk in the Felony Trial Division of the Cook
County State’s Attorney’s Office. He has also held a long
time clerk position at the municipal law firm of Storino,
Ramello and Durkin, where his focus is on local ordinance,
real estate, and municipal representation issues. In
addition, Carmen has worked in the Mortgage Foreclosure
Division of the Cook County Circuit Court under Judge Jesse
G. Reyes, for the St. Joseph County Prosecutor in its Major
Crimes Division, and as a congressional extern for United
States Senator Richard G. Lugar in Washington, DC.
Carmen resides in the western suburb of Elmwood Park where
he was born and raised. He is a graduate of Fenwick High
School in Oak Park, IL, and he holds a Political Science
degree from The University of Notre Dame, where he graduated
with Dean’s List Honors. He plans to graduate from The John
Marshall Law School in January 2009, and to pursue a career
in municipal law.
Vincent R. Vidmer
Vincent R. Vidmer is a Chicagoland native, graduated in 1999
from Fenwick High School in Oak Park, IL and received a
business degree from Loyola University (Chicago). Presently,
Vincent is a 3rd year law student at the John Marshall Law
School, where he has been a member of the Dean’s list. He
has participated with the Justinian Society of Lawyers
throughout his law student career, and served as a member of
the executive board and the JMLS student chapter president.
Vincent was a board member of the Lambda Alpha Real Estate
Society and Sports and Entertainment Societies. He is an
annual Justinian scholarship recipient and has received the
2006 Lupel & Amari Scholarship.
Vincent’s enthusiasm for International Law has lead him to a
summer session at Vatican City, Vatican and a full semester
in Prague, Czech Republic where he studied EU law and worked
for an international corporate law firm.
Vincent has had past internships at the Illinois State’s
Attorney’s Office in the Felony Crime division, and worked
at the law firms of Strorino, Ramello & Durkin, and Amari &
Locallo.
Vincent is focusing on Franco’s participation on the
International Trade & Commerce Committee. Vincent is
scheduled to graduate JMLS in May of 2008 and
is pursuing
a career in international corporate law.
